Scientific Name: (Unknown)
Lifespan: Oldest Zephyr alive lived to be over 5,000, so around that.
Average Height: 5 feet, 8 inches
Average Weight: 250 lbs.
Common Colors: Can be any color, but mostly a woodland brown with stripes or spots.
Additional Information: Zephyrs are well known for their venom-spiked fangs and their ability to grip walls and even ceilings with their paw pads. When a Zephyr bites its prey, the venom spreads quickly through its body no matter how big it is. The animal will be dead within mere seconds of the lethal venom injected in it. Any other animals who come along to eat it will be poisoned also, but most likely not since the venom gives off a foul stench on the dead prey if not washed in a stream (it would not hurt any animals in the water or any animal drinking from it). They have color changing eyes that shift with their mood, powerful hind legs, and can shapeshift. Their tails are long and whip-like, with long feathers or a fluffy tip (NOT like a lion's) for the females. Males have distinct blades on their tail.
They can control other animals' minds merely by looking into their eyes and speaking to them telepathically in an ancient language lost to most Zephyrs now. They can also vanish into shadows and melt into place right next to you with the use of their shadowy aura, something that is very rare and hard to use. The Zephyrs' healing powers, use of medicine, and making of remedies are clearly more advanced than the human's. Age-changing is most common for Zephyrs, as it is the key to why they live so long. They can shift between kit, young adult, juvenile, older adult, etc, and they will keep all their wisdom and memories. More information coming soon when our scientists find any more findings on these exquisite creatures.
